New Delhi, 31 May 25 । The Admission Guidance Session organized by IP University at Dwarka Campus today was houseful. The auditorium with a capacity of around 1,000 was packed with applicants, potential applicants, and their parents who came from all corners of Delhi-NCR.
As in previous years, IP University organized this guidance session to answer queries related to admissions and counselling for applicants and potential applicants.
In the introductory address, Dr. Vijay Kumar, Deputy Registrar (Admissions), explained in detail the various stages of online and offline counselling for admissions.
He also informed about the things to keep in mind during counselling to get the preferred institute according to rank or merit in qualifying exams. Shri Ajay Arora, Assistant Registrar (Admissions) spoke about the ongoing online and offline counselling and informed about the upcoming counselling sessions for other programs.
He also provided information about the Single Girl Child Quota and Sports Quota introduced by the University last year. Dr. Gaurav Tehlan, Co-Director, Directorate of Students’ Welfare, spoke about the financial assistance schemes for meritorious and needy students, including the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship by the Delhi Government and the EWS Scheme by the University.
Prof. Udayan Ghose, Director (Admissions), stated that the University offers admissions in various programs based on entrance exams conducted by the University . Admissions in some programs are based on merit in national level tests and qualifying exams. All programs have online or offline counselling.
The counselling process for some programs has already begun, and it will start soon for the remaining programs. Prof. Ghose added that the University wanted to provide face-to-face answers to all queries related to admissions for applicants and potential applicants, and the counselling session was organized with that objective.
The entire admissions team was present on this occasion. Prof. Ghose informed that if needed, the University will organize more guidance sessions in the coming days.
